Deniece was appointed to Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in July of 2016. She is thrilled to serve God in this historic church, and feels blessed to pastor this congregation; a place where God’s love is made apparent and lived out daily.

Deniece grew up around the world as the daughter of missionaries, and lived in Egypt, Lebanon, Spain, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines. She graduated from high school in India, attended Houston Baptist University, and is currently enrolled in the course of study program at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University.

From 2012 to 2016, Deniece served as the Associate Pastor and Director of Educational Ministries at Flower Mound United Methodist Church, in Flower Mound, Texas. Her prior experience in the United Methodist Church includes serving as the Administrative Assistant for New Church Development and Congregational Transformation at the North Texas Conference Center of the United Methodist Church, and holding several volunteer/leadership positions at Suncreek United Methodist Church in Allen.

Deniece lives in McKinney, Texas, and is a mother to 5 children and the proud grandmother of 9.
